Peter A Furman

is a 25-year veteran of crisis and turnaround management, bankruptcy consulting and senior management of troubled businesses for a diverse range of middle market companies in the manufacturing, distribution, retail and media sectors.

Peter is experienced in developing and implementing operational and financial strategies in difficult business environments to create maximum value to stockholders, lenders and creditors. Peter has served as crisis manager, advisor, chief restructuring officer and chief executive officer to numerous publicly and privately owned businesses in complex situations, and has significant expertise in Chapter 11 proceedings.

Prior to the formation of HunterPoint, Peter was a managing director at a middle market boutique turnaround consulting firm.

A graduate of the University of Cape Town, South Africa, Peter has a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a post graduate diploma in accounting.  Peter qualified as a chartered accountant, and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Association for Corporate Growth and the New York Institute of Credit.  Peter has participated as a speaker in industry panels and webinars.

Barry Green

is a recognized expert in implementing constructive change in companies undergoing or requiring transformation.  He has run and revived distressed companies and has nurtured businesses through the turmoil that can accompany rapid growth.

Barry has also conducted and led numerous due diligence reviews for equity sponsors and lenders.

Prior to the formation of HunterPoint, Barry was a founding partner of Coeus Management LLC, and before that a managing director at a middle market boutique turnaround consulting firm, during which periods he led a number of successful turnarounds and restructurings in the roles of Chief Restructuring Officer and financial advisor, and held several board positions as audit committee chair.  His prior experience included director and CFO of an international airline food and equipment distribution company and similar posts in the consumer electronics and home improvement industries.

Barry, originally from the UK, is a chartered accountant, has an MBA with distinction from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor’s degree in Econometrics from the University of Manchester in the UK.

Barry currently sits on the board of Katun Corporation, one of the world’s largest suppliers of OEM-compatible imaging consumables and supplies for office equipment, as an independent director and chair of the audit committee. Barry is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (TMA) and the American Bankruptcy Institute, and is a former board member of the TMA Northeast Chapter.
